A boat excursion to Orange Bay in Hurghada is a unique adventure for all lovers of outdoor activities at sea. Orange Island is located just a few miles from Hurghada by sea. The location received this name due to the beautiful color of the water, and in the light of the evening sun it turns orange.

The excursion begins from the moment you are picked up by a transfer that will take you to the pier. Next, the staff will escort you to the yacht, and the guides will help you get settled on the ship, take photos and provide instructions before departure.

On the way to the island, you can admire the beauty of the Red Sea, enjoy the clean air, and make a couple of stops at beautiful reefs for snorkeling or diving. When you arrive at Orange Island, you are in paradise for both shore and sea holidays.

The island is washed by clear waters where you can swim, including on sub-boards. You can explore different photo zones and take beautiful photos as a keepsake. The golden sands on Orange Island are equipped with beanbags, wooden walkways and huts.

At Orange Bay you can also enjoy local cuisine, swim in crystal clear pools or simply relax on the beach and enjoy the beautiful views.

After completing your approximately two-hour stay on the island, your guides will transfer you to a ship that will take you back to Hurghada. A boat excursion to Orange Island is the perfect option for spending a day enjoying the beauty of the Red Sea, active activities and relaxing on the beach.

We offer two programs to choose from:

1. Without diving - adults $20, children $10;

2. With diving (1 dive) - adults $25, children $13 (without diving $10).

Additional Information:

Recommended visiting days: Tue, Thu, Sun (on these days of the tour season, the main part of the groups are Russian-speaking, on other days there are foreigners);

Sometimes snorkeling stops are replaced by one long one, about 1.5-2 hours (depending on the weather and other factors);

Diving: one dive up to 15 minutes per person (including preparation) and depth up to 7 meters; sometimes diving takes place on a neighboring yacht when you are moored at sea on the reefs; Important! Your diving may be canceled due to the large number of applicants. Refunds must be requested on site and written to our reservations department. Diving is carried out on the reefs on the way to the islands - these are not the best reefs for diving, if diving in the most interesting places and with a 100% guarantee of activities is important to you, then we recommend choosing the Diving program for the whole day (2 dives up to 15 minutes);

It is necessary to send passport photos of all people to obtain a tourist diving permit to the tourist police;

Important! We kindly ask you not to go up to the upper deck wet. First, you need to dry yourself with a towel. This is required for safety reasons to avoid slipping on the stairs;

The capacity of the yachts is from 20 to 40 people, the yachts are spacious, there is enough space for everyone, there is a limit on the capacity of the tour. police;

Inflatable banana and tablet rides may be canceled due to weather conditions, this does not affect the cost of the program;

You can order this program or any sea program individually by renting a Yacht from $120 for the whole day-description here.

PS: What is the difference between Orange Bay and Paradise Island ?

In fact, both recreation areas are located on the same Big Giftun Island, 15 minutes away from each other by yacht.

- The area of the beach and swimming areas is larger on Orange;

- The depth for swimming is greater at Paradise (Orange is shallow, good for children);

- Quieter and fewer people on Paradise;

- In Orange Bay you can rent a sub-board;

- A recreation area for everyone under one roof on Orange, on Paradise separately under umbrellas made of palm branches;

- There are more photo zones on Orange, although they are also present on Paradise;

- The color of the water is more interesting on Orange, but it's also beautiful on Paradise Island;

- Time on Orange is about 1.5-2 hours, on Paradise about 1-1.5 hours (by decision of the guides on the spot);

- Both bays offer the opportunity to purchase drinks on site, averaging $3 to $7 per drink. There is food exactly on Paradise Island;

- And what's also important is that you can't bring your own snacks and drinks to Orange, and they don't check on Paradise

There is also another recreation area on the island - Makhmeya, but we do not offer this excursion, since it differs in that there different owner. We see no point in sending tourists there, since the territory is similar and the time there is the same as in Orange, and the price of the program is at least 2 or more times higher. Tourists are mainly brought to this island by tour operators.

Take with you:

Towel, swimsuit, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, power bank for charging your phone. We also recommend taking your own mask and snorkel with you (they are also available on the boat). Warm clothes in the winter, it can be windy.
