Cairo, Pyramids, Egyptian Museum is a popular excursion that will allow you to get acquainted with the culture and history of ancient Egypt, see the amazing pyramids and visit the Egyptian Museum or the Islamic and Christian part of the old city. This is a very popular tourist route, which is offered by many tour operators.

You will be able to see the majestic architecture with your own eyes and feel small in comparison to the impressive structures.

The Egyptian Museum is located in the center of Cairo. It is home to more than 120 thousand artifacts, among which you can find the famous treasury of Tutankhamun. In the museum you will learn a lot of interesting things about the ancient stories of Egypt, about the life, rituals and traditions of the ancient Egyptians.

Cairo is the capital of Egypt, located on the banks of the Nile. It is the largest city in Africa and ranks 13th in terms of population in the world. Its appearance preserves buildings from the ancient era of the Pharaohs, monuments of ancient Egyptian Christianity and magnificent examples of medieval Islamic architecture.

You can choose a program with the National Egyptian Museum or a program with a visit to Christian attractions: the Hanging Church and the Church of Abu Serga.

What is included in the excursion program*:

Departure is around 01:00, depending on the location of the hotel (the road to Cairo is about 8 hours, depending on police escort);

Islamic and Christian part of Cairo (P.No. 1) / National Cairo Museum (P.No. 2);

Great Sphinx;

Pyramids of Giza (Cheops, Khafre, Mikerin);

Papyrus Institute and Oil Factory (shopping area);

A trip along the Nile on a motor boat (optional, for an additional fee. Book and purchase directly from the guide on the bus + $10 - Free for the duration of the promotion above in P. No. 1);

Lunch (buffet);

Transfer to the hotel by 23:00 (departure from Cairo approximately at 16:00-17:00. Sometimes return may be later, depending on the traffic situation and police checkpoints).

Additional Information:

Transfer from Hurghada on a comfortable bus with two drivers, security, air conditioning and toilet; Entrance to the interior of the Cheops pyramid is not included in the price; if desired (if there is time left on the program), a ticket can be purchased at the ticket office at the entrance to the pyramid, the price is 1000 pounds (~$30-35);

When visiting a boat trip on the Nile, tourists who do not book this trip with a guide wait on the bus (according to the country's tourist rules). Purchased upon request at the excursion site, payment in cash;

On other days (Mon, Thu, Fri, Sun) European tourists with their own guide can be present, a walk along the Nile in P. No. 1 is for an additional fee and the quality of the excursion organization is slightly lower *. The guide for the Russian-speaking group is Russian-speaking. The price remains unchanged.

*On a tourist in the Egyptian market, there are only three organizers of excursions to Cairo, but on different days of the week. We work with everyone and there is not much opportunity to choose. We inform you in advance about the recommended days so that you can enjoy the program as much as possible.
